Population and Annual Percent Change

What is it and why does it matter?

The Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program produces annual estimates of population for counties, using current data on births, deaths, and migration. The estimates from previous years are revised with each new release. Changes in population growth informs stakeholders on potential for consumer spending, labor supply, as well as, demand for infrastructure and services.
